The Supported Self-Rehoming Working Group has been outlining implementation strategies for organizations and communities to roll out effective rehoming programs. Using our existing At-A-Glance and successful case studies from staff/volunteers, guidelines and SOPs will be available soon!
The Supported Self-Rehoming Working Group has been developing an AT-A-GLANCE infographic of existing tools that shelters can use to implement a rehoming program quickly and effectively in their communities: Rehome.AdoptaPet.com, Home-Home.org, and GetYourPet.com. Additional guidelines and templates for social media, applications/screening best practices, and contracts are also in development.
