Human Animal Support Services (HASS) is an international coalition of social service leaders united by a goal to bridge the gap between human and animal welfare. Together, we’re building a synergetic support system and empowering everyone to find unified solutions for common human-animal challenges.

HASS started in 2020 with a expert group of pilot shelter organizations who were committed to ideating, piloting, and refining the HASS pathways within their communities. These same organizations continue to lead the industry not only in HASS-related initiatives, but in supporting both people and pets as a whole.
